Hello, Everyone! My name is Kurt Weinreich Jr. and I am a Certified Master Personal Trainer, Fitness Development and Wellness Center Director for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
My passion is to help people change their lives in the simplest and most realistic way possible. I believe everyone deserves the right to good health and to be happy with themselves inside and out.
Getting fit and healthy does not have to be difficult, but often times it is. With so much conflicting and contradictory information out there it can be very frustrating and confusing to know what to do.
I know exactly how you feel because I was there.
As a competitive athlete, I spent years going up and down in weight and struggling with food issues. That is why I went to get educated to learn the science behind the myths and sort out the clutter to find the healthiest path. I now utilize that education and experience to keep up with the ever-evolving research, combined with the motivational and emotional aspects to inspire others to do pursue their healthy lifestyle.
If you're motivated to pursue a healthier active lifestyle, while learning a scientific approach to motivate you on your customized plan, you've come to the right place.
As a certified fitness professional, I can help you set realistic goals and transform your health and your life for the better. I can help you look and feel your best. And I can help you enjoy yourself along the way.
I utilize my experience in the fitness industry as a trainer, manager, and educator to assist in the development of other fitness professionals. I have also consulted many clubs in development systems as a senior instructor at the National Personal Training Institute, adjunct instructor at Heritage College, and as a national presenter for Achieve Academy workshops.
During my twenty years in the industry, I was able to obtain several training awards including an Academic Achievement Award from the ISSA and had the honor of being chosen to be Fitness Ambassador to work the High Performance Training Center at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. My work as also allowed me to showcase the importance of fitness in the media with was a radio co-host for "Fitness Fridays" and appearances on local media like "Colorado's Best." In 2011 was appointed to the Colorado Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and again in 2013 to the Colorado Governor's Council on Active and Healthy Lifestyles.
So how can I help you?
I would like to utilize my experience to assist you in your health and fitness goals, whatever your current level, and motivate you on your dedication to a better lifestyle for you and your family.
You have the power to change! But it all begins with YOU!
